Fredrickson Family Monument

With the exception of the John K. and Pauline (Felt) Fredrickson family (including two sons and a daughter-in-law) who are buried amongst the Felt family, the Fredricksons are not buried in family units, but in chronological order. It is hard to know then, who is represented by the two Fredrickson family monuments. It would seem that the older monument was placed about the same time the patriarch of the family, Knut Fredrick, passed away. The other one was placed later about the time Caroline, wife of K.F. passed away, or possibly about the time Helmer passed away. Helmer's wife, Selma, also passed away in that time period, but was buried in Glenwood. The spot where the family marker is located is the spot that Selma should have been placed if continuing with the burials in chronological order. Why she is not buried in Bethany is not clear.
