- From a newspaper article regarding the 50th Anniversary of Bethany Church in 1927: Lunch was to have been served in the grove at Edie Berg's place but on account of the rain his big machine shed had to be cleared out and the tables were set in there.
The electric organs have been gifts of memorials from the Lindquist family. The following have served as organists: Theresa Erickson Berg; Lina Felt Fredrickson; Hilda Johnson; Caroline Runquist Felt; Josephine Runquist and Ethel Johnson.
Sunday School was held regularly in years past by Mr. and Mrs. Erik Runquist, Mrs. John Felt and Mrs. Eddie Berg, and later years by Mrs. Freddie Runquist.
Eddie Berg presented a historical sketch of the Bethany Lutheran Church at the 75th Anniversary celebration on 6 Jul 1952.
